For Eco, their eyewear is all about expressing yourself, feeling good in your own skin and being part of a positive change. And what better way to be part of this change with something so practical.

The Eco journey starts with their materials, with their products only being made from sustainable sources such as 95% recycled metal, castor seed oil, and more recently recycled ocean plastics resulting in lightweight and comfortable eyewear.

The glasses and sunglasses are sent out in natural or recycled materials too! The specs are placed in a 100% biodegradable protective bag, before being placed in a case made from recycled PET. The products are then sent out in packaging made from recycled paper, and as if it couldn’t get any better, for every frame purchased Eco plants a tree with Trees for the Future!

The Eco spectacle range has a lot of variation on styles, materials and colours making them inclusive for everyone. Many of these styles are available with a clip on, allowing you to switch your specs to sunnies in a matter of seconds! This feature is great, especially for drivers who want to switch to sunglasses in the car, or those who don’t want to carry around 2 pair of glasses all the time.

In April, Eco was awarded the Best Eyewear Brand in Seventeens ‘Sustainable Style Awards’. Sustainability and taking care of our planet have become big topics over the last few years, and even more so since documentaries such as Our Planet by David Attenborough and Seaspiracy on Netflix.
