At our Hessle practice we have the lovely Danish brand – Ørgreen Optics.

Ørgreen is a global eyewear brand founded in Copenhagen in 1997. The brand is well known for its high-end materials, signature style, innovative colour combinations and timeless frames.

For 25 years, Ørgreen have been carefully creating handmade eyewear, focusing on customer care, superior quality and unique colour stories with their in-house colourist who draws inspiration from art, design, and nature. The colouring process consists of 15 or more steps, with the different hues composed in a collection of opposites, refined vs raw, weak vs strong and tranquil vs intense. These colour combinations give the eyewear a twist, reflecting the object or theme that has inspired them.

Ørgreen’s new acetate range is packed with character thanks to the unique and exciting colour combinations. The colours assigned to each model within the collection have been designed and selected to complement each frame and its wearer.

Although the eyewear is designed in Denmark, each frame is handmade in Japan, a country known for its high standards and quality. Each frame can take up to 6 months to make, undergoing a thorough quality-controlled process until perfect. The combination of their Danish design ethos and high standard quality control process means that Ørgreen products are designed and made to last a lifetime.

In our Hessle branch we have a selection of the acetate collection, featuring a range of flattering frame shapes and colour combinations. We really like how versatile this collection is and how complimentary the colours are, making them modern and timeless.
